Yes, I actually write more prose than verse. I just haven't submitted any to this account.
I might do so in the future. Though I will probably limit myself to mostly submitting horror stories.

The Shadows Inside
This was written over two years ago as part of a planned graphic novel. The story is a fantasy situation. Basically, it is just experimental writing. I wanted a scenario where I could throw all of the characters into some kind of immediate conflict, however contrived. Just to see how they might interact with each other and discover how much real interest I had in the idea. I posted it here because one of my friends liked it and I was hoping to get reactions for which characters were liked and whether the world was interesting to other people. It's rather long for a casual sample. So you might prefer...

A.N.T.S.
Once again, this is speculative writing. This time I am writing sci-fi. I intend this to be part of a concept for a possible console game. I'm trying to write the story with that in mind. However, the dA preview has been heavily condensed. I removed anything that would potentially conflict with the process for myself and the artists who are working with me. In other words, if you enjoy reading stories that barely describe what they are talking about... this one is for you! ;]

You can tear both of them to shreds, if you want. Of course, I would be hoping for some kind of positive reaction. I would always appreciate hearing any feedback that you have. In the end, they are steps in the creative process and my process might be improved by hearing your assessment.
